High Fashion Themed Photoshoot

For photography class we had themes that required us to take photos that fit the requirements. The theme for this photo was High Fashion, and since we needed to use the Studio at least once, I decided to use it for this project. I wasn’t used to using professional equipment so it was challenging. I told my models that the theme was to try to portray high fashion. This shoot was my first time trying to produce professional photos of people, but it was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. To me high fashion felt like studio shots, so I decided to use a white sheet as a backdrop (my other option was green paper!)

With Lyss’s shoot I was using the studio equipment with my camera hooked up to use the flash. I wasn’t entirely sure how to work it properly, so a lot of shots didn’t turn out.

For Dan’s shoot I decided to just use the lighting in the room, without using the flash. The only exception is the last photo at the bottom as I did use the flash for that one.
